Mechanic checking engine oil

Around the Motor Vehicle Workshop

Students could be faced with a scenario where they must inspect a vehicle and work out the fault based on what they can see in the VR provided.

How VR can be implemented to support TLA in the classroom and independent learning

Faults such as flat tyres, smoking exhausts and flat batteries could all be used to develop student’s ability to spot faults and diagnose them appropriately.

This would benefit students as they will often be faced with similar issues in industry where customers are presenting their vehicles to them and saying, ‘ it won’t start’ or ‘there is a strange noise coming from the engine’.
